Eligibility Criteria – HEC Need Based Scholarship KIU 2025-26
To apply for the HEC Need Based Scholarship at KIU, students must meet the following conditions:
- Regular Students: Must be regular undergraduate students of all disciplines at KIU Main Campus, enrolled in the Spring & Fall semester 2025 with satisfactory academic performance.
- No Other Scholarship: Students already availing any other educational scholarship are not eligible.
- Disciplinary Record: Students involved in any unlawful activities or facing disciplinary cases will be disqualified.
- Authentic Information: Applications with false or misleading information will be rejected.
- Income Verification: The income certificate/Pay slip will be sent to the concerned AC/Tehsildar office/AGPR for verification later on. If any certificate is found to be fake, strict action will be taken against the student including blacklisting for all scholarships.
How to Apply – Step by Step for HEC Need Based Scholarship KIU
Application Portal: https://scholarships.kiu.edu.pk
- Step 1: Visit Scholarship Portal – Go to https://scholarships.kiu.edu.pk OR scan the QR code provided in the notice.
- Step 2: Login with Registration Number – Login with your KIU registration number format: [2025-KIU-BS0000]. Use your LMS password as the login password.
- Step 3: Fill Application Form – Complete the HEC Need Based Scholarship online form. Enter personal, academic, and family income details accurately.
- Step 4: Upload Documents – Attach scanned copies of CNIC, student card, father/guardian CNIC, income certificate/pay slip, utility bills, house pictures, and academic transcripts as required.
- Step 5: Submit Before Deadline – Review all information and submit the application online by 30th April 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Important Instructions – HEC Scholarship KIU 2025-26
- Only for KIU Main Campus: This scholarship is only for regular undergraduate students enrolled at KIU Main Campus Gilgit. Sub-campuses are not included.
- Need Based: This is a financial need based scholarship. Students must provide genuine income certificates. All documents will be verified by AC/Tehsildar office/AGPR.
- One Scholarship Rule: If you are already getting EHSAAS, PEEF, MORA, or any other scholarship, you cannot apply.
- Academic Performance: Students must have satisfactory academic performance. Failing students may not be considered.
- Strict Action on Fake Documents: Submission of fake income certificate will result in blacklisting from all future HEC/KIU scholarships.
