Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Office of the Project Director – 100 MW Solarization of GB Project, W&P Department has announced a Vacancy Announcement for Establishment of Project Management Unit for PSDP Project “Development of a Project Having a Cumulative Capacity of 100 MWP Distributed Solar Photovoltaic (DPV) Plants at Various Sites in Gilgit-Baltistan”.

Vacant Positions – Eligibility, Qualification & Experience
1. Resident Engineer (Civil) – 01 Post – PPS 8 – Max Age 45 years
Qualification: BSc/B.E. Civil Engineering from HEC recognized university, duly registered with PEC as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE).
Experience: Minimum 08 Years’ post degree experience in Power Sector. Preferably in Renewable Energy PSDP Projects. Preference will be given to candidates having Higher Degree in Project Management/Engineering.
2. Resident Engineer (Electrical) – 01 Post – PPS 8 – Max Age 45 years
Qualification: BSc/B.E. Electrical Engineering from HEC recognized university, duly registered with PEC as a Professional Electrical Engineer (PE).
Experience: Minimum 08 Years’ post degree experience in the Power Sector. Preferably in Renewable Energy PSDP Projects. Preference will be given to candidates with Higher Degree in Project Management/Engineering.
3. Assistant Resident Engineer (Civil) – 03 Posts – PPS 7 – Max Age 40 years
Qualification: BSc/B.E. Civil Engineering from HEC recognized university, duly registered with PEC.
Experience: Minimum 05 Years’ post degree experience in the relevant field, preferably in renewable energy PSDP projects.
4. Assistant Resident Engineer (Electrical) – 03 Posts – PPS 7 – Max Age 40 years
Qualification: BSc/B.E. Electrical Engineering from HEC recognized university, duly registered with PEC.
Experience: Minimum 05 Years’ experience in the relevant field, preferably in renewable energy PSDP projects.
5. Sub Engineer (Civil) – 03 Posts – PPS 4 – Max Age 35 years
Qualification: 03 Years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) Civil technology from any recognized Institute/Polytechnic college.
Experience: Minimum 05 Years’ Experience in the relevant field preferably in Renewable Energy Projects.
6. Sub Engineer (E/M) – 06 Posts – PPS 4 – Max Age 35 years
Qualification: 03 Years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) Electrical technology from any recognized Institute/Polytechnic college.
Experience: Minimum 05 Years’ Experience in the relevant field preferably in Renewable Energy Projects.
7. Accounts Officer – 01 Post – PPS 7 – Max Age 45 years
Qualification: MBA/M.Com/MSc Economics or equivalent Degree from University recognized by HEC.
Experience: Minimum 8 Years’ experience in the relevant field, preferably in Power Projects and must be experienced in submission of progress reports, cash/work plans and capable to handling the account matters of the PSDP/Development Project.
8. Computer Operator – 01 Post – PPS 6 – Max Age 35 years
Qualification: Graduation with 1-year Diploma in Computer Hardware/software from any Recognized Institute.
Experience: Minimum 5 Years’ post degree experience in relevant field preferably in a development project and having expertise in MS Office with good command of English Language.
9. LDC – 01 Post – PPS 4 – Max Age 35 years
Qualification: Second Class Graduation from HEC recognized Institution.
Experience: Minimum 03 Years’ Experience as Clerk in government/private offices. Preference will be given to Experience in relevant field with expertise in MS Office and Computer knowledge.
10. Driver – 05 Posts – PPS 1 – Max Age 35 years
Qualification: Middle
Requirement: Valid LTV/HTV Driving License.
11. Office Attendant – 05 Posts – PPS 1 – Max Age 35 years
