📢 Call for Applications: START Womenpreneurs Programme 2026

Do you have a business idea but need the right support to turn it into reality? The START Womenpreneurs Programme, implemented by AKRSP in partnership with the Government of Canada, is inviting applications from aspiring women entrepreneurs to develop sustainable businesses and create new livelihood opportunities. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: 18-45 Years
• Education: Matriculation at Least
• Fresh Potential Women Micro-Entrepreneurs: Aspiring or first-time micro-entrepreneurs with a viable business idea
• Employment Status: Currently unemployed and opt to continue their career in business
• Residency: Residents of Gilgit, Ghizer, Astore, Hunza and Nagar districts
• Business Idea: Only viable new business ideas will be shortlisted for the programme

16 August 2026

Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.

What You Will Get: Successful applicants will receive support to transform innovative business ideas into viable enterprises, business development training, mentorship and startup support.

Note: Women and Differently-Abled Individuals are especially encouraged to apply. This program is only for women from Gilgit, Ghizer, Astore, Hunza, and Nagar.
