Key Job Responsibilities
- Exploration Programs: Plan and execute geophysical exploration using ERT, EM, magnetic, gravity, and other potential field techniques based on project objectives and geological setting.
- Data Processing: Process, quality check and interpret geophysical datasets for exploration targeting, subsurface mapping, and resource evaluation.
- 3D Modeling: Develop integrated 2D and 3D subsurface models by combining geophysical results with geological mapping, lithology, geochemistry and drilling information.
- Field Operations: Support survey planning, data collection, equipment use, and field QC to maintain data quality and operational efficiency.
- Database Management: Manage exploration and geophysical databases including validation, archival, metadata tagging, and workflow improvement.
- Software Tools: Use Oasis Montaj, automation tools, reporting and workflow support systems.
- Reporting: Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation communicating survey results, exploration risks, target rationale and recommendations.
- Project Management: Contribute to project planning, defining work scope, tracking timelines, managing technical risks and cost conscious execution.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing geophysical operations and data collection.
