Eligibility Criteria

Education / Qualification

Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or International University / College / Institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.

Preference: Candidates having a Master's degree in business and/or any other professional certifications such as AIBP, JAIBP will be preferred.

Age Limit

Maximum 28 years as on last date of submission of application.

Experience Required

Minimum 01 year of banking experience in Sales and/or Relationship Management. Fresh graduates are not eligible - prior banking experience mandatory.

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition: To identify and acquire new SME clients to grow the Bank's SME lending portfolio
  • Strategy Development: To develop and execute a client acquisition strategy in alignment with organizational goals
  • Product Promotion: To promote the Bank's financing products, including working capital, trade finance, and term loans
  • Relationship Management: To manage and enhance existing client relationships to ensure portfolio retention and growth
  • Portfolio Review: To regularly review the financial health and performance of clients to identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Client Visits: To conduct periodic client visits and provide updates on portfolio performance
  • Credit Analysis: To analyze financial statements and business models of SME clients to assess creditworthiness
  • Solution Structuring: To structure and recommend appropriate financing solutions tailored to client needs
  • Credit Proposals: To prepare comprehensive credit proposals in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Risk Management: To ensure credit facilities are approved within the risk appetite of the Bank and monitor accounts for early warning signals
  • Compliance: To maintain compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Collaboration: To collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide seamless client service
  • Target Achievement: To achieve financial and non-financial targets, including revenue, portfolio growth and client satisfaction
  • KPIs: To contribute to the Bank's overall strategy by meeting Key Performance Indicators

Other Knowledge / Competencies Required

  • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet assigned targets
  • Banking Knowledge: Basic understanding of banking products and services, with exposure to Commercial and SME Banking
  • Geographical Knowledge: Good geographical knowledge of the assigned area and surrounding business area
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations and regulatory requirements related to Commercial & SME lending
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer relationship management skills
  • Sales Orientation: Strong sales orientation, with the ability to identify business opportunities and achieve assigned targets
  • Credit & Finance: Strong understanding of Credit Lending, SME Financing and Trade Finance
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel
