Age Limit: 18-30 Years inclusive of general relaxation of 5 years
Qualification: Matric. Minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m required.
Note: Individual with adequate knowledge of MS Office will be preferred. Selected candidates shall have to undertake 3-weeks basic IT Training course including MS Office conducted by NITB before completion of probation period.

Important Instructions
How to Apply: Candidates will apply online on website www.mes.gov.pk.
Test Centers: Candidates will be called for screening written / Skill practical test at only specified cities i.e. Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Karachi and Quetta. These stations may be reduced/enhanced keeping in view the number of applicants. Candidates must specify exam center in their online application form.
Screening Test for LDC: An objective type screening test will be held for Lower Division Clerk, out of Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies, English, General/IT Knowledge and Subject relevant to post along with typing test of shortlisted LDCs.
Skill Test for Driver: Skill/practical test will also be conducted for the post of Civil/MT Driver.
OMR Checking: Paper checking for the post of LDC will be carried out through Optical Mark Reader machine. Candidates are instructed to get themselves well conversant with the procedure.
Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview before final selection.
Fee for BPS-11: Applicants of BPS-11 will deposit Rs. 1000/- fee through online generated Challan Form in all branches of Askari Bank & Easypaisa by 26 June 2026. Note: Bank Drafts/Postal Orders will not be accepted.
Government Servants: Govt Servants including MES staff must apply through online job portal and forward their NOC through department, showing their present service number, rank and place of duty.
Non-Muslims: Must provide their declaration, on oath, at the time of interview as well as at the time of joining, if applicable.
Fake Documents: If any documents/information found fake or bogus at any stage, candidature will stand cancelled. Even in case of selection, such fake documents whenever found, will lead to appropriate disciplinary action/criminal proceedings.
Age Relaxation Rules
Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Tribal Areas, AJK, GB: 3 Years relaxation for all posts under Federal Government
Sindh Rural and Balochistan: 3 Years relaxation for posts in BPS-15 and below under Federal Govt
Released/Retired Armed Forces Personnel: 15 Years or the number of years actually served in Armed Forces, whichever is less
Govt Servants: 10 Years relaxation for those who have completed 2 years continuous Govt service on closing date
Disabled Persons: 10 Years relaxation for posts in BPS 15 and below
Widow/Son/Daughter of Deceased Civil Servant: 5 Years relaxation
Note: Where a candidate is entitled to age relaxation under more than one category, he shall be allowed relaxation in age only in one category. Age calculated as on 21 June 2026.
Documents Required at Interview
Candidates will have to produce following documents in original and attested photocopies at the time of interview:
1. 3 x Latest passport size photographs
2. Attested photocopy of educational qualification
3. Attested copy of CNIC
4. Domicile duly verified from concerned district
5. Experience Certificates if applicable
6. Attested copy discharge certificate DASB for candidate from Army / svc cert / NOC from concerned office for serving candidates in MES / other Govt department
7. Declaration on oath from Non-Muslim candidate duly verified from Magistrate Grade-I
8. Disability certificate showing nature of disability issued by District Rehabilitation Organizations OR District Council of Health
