About POF Summer Internship Program 2026
Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) offers internship opportunities to HEC recognized University/College students to enhance their professional skills. POF is Pakistan's largest defence industrial complex with 14 ordnance factories and modern manufacturing facilities. Interns will get hands-on exposure to engineering, manufacturing, management, and defence production processes under senior POF professionals.
Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?
BS/BSc/BE/BBA students of HEC recognized universities/colleges studying in 6th to 8th semester and MBA students studying in 3rd or 4th semester in the following disciplines are eligible to apply:
a. BS/BSc/BE Disciplines
Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Metallurgical, Environmental, Chemical/Chemistry, Energetic Materials, IT/ Computer Science/ Software Engineering, Industrial & Manufacturing.
b. BBA/MBA Disciplines
HR, Finance, Marketing & SCM
Internship Duration & Nature
Duration: Maximum duration of Internship will be 12 x weeks. This is a full-time summer internship where selected students will be placed in relevant POF factories/departments based on their discipline.
Learning Areas: Interns will work on live projects in production, quality control, R&D, supply chain, HR, finance, and IT depending on their field. You will learn from POF engineers, managers, and technical experts.
Terms & Conditions – POF Internship 2026
1. Duration: Maximum 12 weeks. Exact joining and completion dates will be communicated to selected interns.
2. No Stipend: No stipend will be paid during Internship. This is an unpaid learning internship program.
3. No Accommodation & TA/DA: No accommodation & TA/DA will be provided to the internees. Students must arrange their own travel and stay in Wah Cantt/Rawalpindi/Islamabad.
4. Last Date: Last date to apply online on POF's website (www.pof.gov.pk) is 04-05-2026. Late applications will not be entertained.
5. Online Only: Only online application will be entertained. Hard copies or email applications will be rejected.
6. POF Rights: POF Management reserves the rights to reject any application without any reason. Shortlisting is at the discretion of POF HR.
