General Information & Instructions
1. Recruitment Policy: The recruitment shall be made in accordance with Recruitment Policy conveyed by Establishment Division vide O.M. dated 22.10.2014 and 53/1/2008-SP dated 06-05-2020 as amended from time to time.
2. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written test/interview. Meeting minimum criteria does not guarantee test/interview call.
3. Application Rules: Incomplete applications, advance copies and those received after due date will not be entertained. An applicant may apply for more than one post by submitting separate application forms for each post.
4. Age Relaxation: Age relaxation of 5 years will be admissible as per Establishment Division's OM No. F.9/2/91-R-5, dated 28.11.2000 and Establishment Division's O.M No. 9/2/91-R-5 dated 24.06.2010.
5. Documents: Applicant shall present their original documents along with set of attested copies of domicile, degree/certificates issued by recognized Board/institutes/University recognized by HEC (if applicable) at the time of interview. Fake/bogus documents will lead to cancellation of candidature and legal action.
6. How to Apply: Applications shall only be submitted through National Job Portal (NJP) https://njp.gov.pk/login.php. Any application received directly at Power Division will not be considered.
7. Government Servants: Applicants already in Government service must apply through proper channel in parallel to the online application, otherwise their application will not be entertained. N.O.C of the department shall officially be endorsed to this Division.
8. No TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test/interview. Candidates must manage travel to Islamabad at own expense.
9. Test/Interview Schedule: Candidates are advised to visit Power Division's website https://power.gov.pk/ and NJP intermittently for date/venue of written test/interview schedule.
10. Ministry Rights: The Ministry of Energy (Power Division) reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process in part or whole, increase/decrease the number of vacancies at any stage without assigning any reason.
11. Disability Quota: In line with directions of Establishment Division for observance of 2% disability quota, Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) will be given preference for any two (2) positions, as per discretion of Power Division. Eligibility Summary

LDC BPS-11: Matric + Typing 30 wpm. Age 18-25 years + 5 years relaxation. 02 posts for Punjab Merit only.

Important Tips for Applicants
1. Shorthand/Typing Test: Stenotypist candidates must prepare for 80 wpm shorthand and 40 wpm typing test. Practice regularly as skill test is mandatory.
2. LDC Typing: LDC candidates should practice typing to achieve 30 wpm speed with accuracy.
3. Computer Literacy: Stenotypist must be computer literate. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Urdu InPage is beneficial.
4. Quota Check: Apply against your provincial/domicile quota. Women and Minority candidates should apply under reserved seats.
5. NOC: If you are already in Govt service, get NOC from your department before applying through proper channel.
6. Temporary to Permanent: These posts are temporary but likely to be made permanent as per Power Division rules.
