The School Education Department, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan has officially issued appointment offers for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (BS-16, Male).
This notification was released under No Sec-Edu-3(6)/2022 Gilgit dated 21st January, 2026, based on the recommendation of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), Islamabad (Letter No.F.4-58/2023-R-FS-II dated 16th December, 2025) and subsequent endorsement by the Services GAD and Cabinet Department GB (Letter No.SO(S)-I-1(6)/2025 dated 18th December, 2025).

📑 Terms & Conditions of Appointment
The appointments are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Pay & Allowances: Appointees will draw pay in Basic Scale-16 plus usual allowances as admissible to government servants of their category in Gilgit-Baltistan.
- Probation Period: One year probation from the date of assumption of charge, subject to the Gilgit-Baltistan Civil Servant Act, 2011.
- Undertaking: Candidates must sign the enclosed undertaking and return it to the department.
- Posting: Liable to serve anywhere in Gilgit-Baltistan.
- Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be admissible for journey performed to the place of duty on first appointment/joining.
- Nature of Appointment: Temporary; services can be terminated on usual notice applicable to temporary government servants.
- Posting Authority: The Secretary School Education Department GB will decide the place of posting.
- Verification: Appointment subject to verification of character by Police Department, academic antecedents, domicile, and medical fitness.
- Seniority: Inter-se seniority will be determined as per existing seniority rules.
- Service Matters: Leave, medical facilities, and other service matters will be governed by the Gilgit-Baltistan Civil Servant Act, 2011.
- Pension Deduction: Mandatory 10% monthly deduction from pay towards the Defined Contributory Pension Scheme, as per Finance Division OM No.F-9(3)-Reg-6/2023 dated 20th August, 2024, subsequent S.R.O 1718(I)2025 dated 17th August, 2025, and Section-18 of Gilgit-Baltistan Finance Act-2025.
