- Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or equivalent (16 years of education) in International Relations (IR), Political Science (Pol Sc), Defence and Strategic Studies (DSS), Peace & Conflict Studies, Defence & Diplomatic Studies, or a comparable discipline with a focus on India/South Asia (preferred).
- Age: Not over 35 years, including five years of General Age Relaxation.
- Experience/Publications: Minimum two years of research experience at a reputable university/institution and two research publications/papers published in HEC-recognized journals.

- Age: Not over 30 years, including five years of General Age Relaxation.
