Introduction:

WAPDA, the Water and Power Development Authority, is offering a paid internship program with a national reach, specifically designed for fresh graduates who are seeking professional experience to enhance their portfolio and meet market requirements. This internship program provides an excellent opportunity for both male and female candidates who have recently graduated to gain valuable experience in their respective fields.

Vacancies by Discipline:

• Electrical / Electronics & Mechanical Engineering: 16 Posts
• Civil Engineering: 10 Posts
• Geological Engineering: 05 Posts
• Finance & Accounting: 06 Posts
• Human Resource Management: 06 Posts
• Mass Communications: 04 Posts
• Computer IT: 03 Posts

Required Qualification & Eligibility Criteria:

• Fresh Graduates (Max 3 Years) with a minimum CGPA of 2.8.
• The maximum age limit is 26 years.

Duration and Stipend:

• Duration of Internship: 8 Weeks (2 Months)
• Stipend: Rs. 20,000/- per month

Seat Allocation:

• Open Merit: 20 Seats
• Punjab: 6 Seats
• KPK: 6 Seats
• Sindh: 6 Seats
• Balochistan: 3 Seats
• Gilgit Baltistan: 3 Seats
• Azad Kashmir: 3 Seats
• Ex – FATA: 3 Seats

How to Apply:

1. Candidates who meet the criteria should send their application/CV through the Online Form available on the WAPDA website.
2. Ensure all academic/educational certificates, current transcripts, domicile copies, CNIC copies, updated CV, police verification forms, and 2 recent passport-size photographs are attached with the application (via email).
3. If the attachment size exceeds the limit, zip all documents and attach them to the email.
4. The subject of the email must specify the discipline being applied for, such as electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, etc.
5. Applications without mentioning the discipline in the subject line will not be entertained.
6. Only online applications (through email) will be considered.
7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
8. Candidates need to bring the original documents at the time of the interview.
