Are you an undergraduate student at UoBS with siblings also enrolled here? If so, the Student Financial Aid Office is delighted to introduce the Kinship Scholarship program for the year 2024. This initiative aims to support families with multiple children pursuing higher education at UoBS by providing tuition fee waivers. Below, we outline the eligibility criteria, scholarship breakdown, important notes, and application process for interested students.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the Kinship Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• The eldest sibling currently enrolled as an undergraduate at UoBS.
• Have one or more siblings also currently enrolled as undergraduates at UoBS.
• All siblings must maintain a strong academic record, with a minimum CGPA of 2.80.

Scholarship Breakdown: The Kinship Scholarship offers the following benefits based on the number of siblings enrolled at UoBS:

• Two Siblings: One sibling receives a 25% tuition fee waiver.
• Three or More Siblings: The third sibling and any subsequent siblings receive a 50% tuition fee waiver.
• The scholarship is awarded to the senior sibling(s); the most junior or latest enrolled student is not eligible.

Important Notes:

• Priority will be given to students with demonstrated financial need if multiple applications are received from families with more than two siblings.
• This scholarship is exclusively for undergraduate students and is not applicable to postgraduate programs, diplomas, or short courses.
• It cannot be combined with other scholarships, tuition waivers, or discounts.
• The scholarship is for the 2024 academic year and is subject to renewal based on continued enrollment and good academic standing.

How to Apply: Applications for the Kinship Scholarship will be available starting March 26, 2024, and will be accepted until April 1, 2024. Here's how to apply:

1. Fill out the Google Form available on the University's website.
2. After completing the online form, print it out.
3. Submit the printed form along with the required documents to Campus Administrators or the Student Financial Aid Office (SFAO).

Required Documents: Ensure that the following documents are enclosed with the hard copy of the application form:

• Kinship Scholarship application form (available March 26th).
• Proof of sibling relationship (Form B).
• Copies of parents' Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs).
• Academic transcripts of each sibling.
• Proof of sibling's enrollment (student ID cards).
• Income certificate (issued by father/family/guardian).

Renewal and Continuation: Successful applicants will receive the Kinship Scholarship for the 2024 academic year. Renewal of the scholarship for subsequent years is contingent upon continued enrollment at UoBS and maintaining good academic standing.
