HR Manager Operations Position at Aga Khan Agency for Habitat

Position Overview:

Aga Khan Agency for Habitat Pakistan is seeking applications for the role of HR Manager Operations, based in Gilgit. Reporting to the Head of HR & Organizational Development, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes and systems within the agency. This position requires a detail-oriented and process-driven individual who can collaborate effectively to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employment Documentation Management:

  • Prepare employment contracts, probationary confirmations, renewals, and separation letters in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and databases to reflect changes in employment status promptly.

2. Payroll Administration:

  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and related payments.
  • Verify payroll data, including attendance records, overtime, and deductions, to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.

3. Payroll Automation:

  • Explore and implement automation tools and systems to streamline payroll processes and generate salary slips efficiently.
  • Work closely with IT and HRIS teams to integrate payroll systems and enhance data accuracy and security.

4. Health & Life Insurance Management:

  • Administer health and life insurance benefits for employees, including enrollment, claims processing, and renewal management.

5. Annual Salary Increments:

  • Process annual salary reviews and increments, along with necessary adjustments, in a timely manner with relevant documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in HR operations or related roles, with a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll processing software and HRIS platforms; experience with payroll automation tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management and record-keeping.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Pakistan's program areas, with the position based in Gilgit.
