The Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) is dedicated to enhancing healthcare access and quality across the country. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Human Resource Officer for the Gilgit Baltistan region, based in Gilgit.

Position Overview:

As a Human Resource Officer, you will work closely with the HR Business Partner to manage the entire employee life cycle in the Gilgit Baltistan region. This includes overseeing recruitment, learning and development initiatives, compensation, HR operations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to execute recruitment strategies and processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Manage compensation and benefits administration, ensuring fairness and equity in reward structures.
  • Handle day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, managing leave and attendance systems, and addressing employee queries and concerns.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and providing feedback to employees.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues and assist in resolving conflicts or grievances.
  • Contribute to HR reporting and analytics, providing insights to inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline.
  • One or more years of relevant experience in human resources, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
