KADO is seeking qualified, committed and experienced professionals to join the project team

📍 Duty Station: Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan ✈️ Field Travel: As required 📅 Contract Duration: 1 Year

1. PROJECT MANAGER - FEMALE

Position Purpose:

Lead overall project delivery, ensuring timely, gender-responsive and quality implementation in line with the approved work plan, budget and KADO/UN Women requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, implementation, budgeting, procurement, M&E, risk management and reporting.
  • Supervise project staff and ensure achievement of project targets and milestones.
  • Coordinate with UN Women, government, UN/CSO, academic, financial, training and private-sector partners.
  • Monitor budgets, indicators, data quality, safeguarding and project documentation.

Required Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree / 16 years of education in Development Studies, Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Management, Economics or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, including donor-funded project and team management.
  • Proven experience in project planning, budgeting/procurement, M&E and donor reporting.
  • Experience in women's economic empowerment, livelihoods, digital inclusion, advocacy or EVAWG is highly desirable.
  • Strong English and Urdu communication and digital/project management skills.
  • GB/local language and field experience will be an advantage.
2. GENDER & LIVELIHOOD COORDINATOR - FEMALE

Position Purpose:

Lead technical quality and implementation of gender equality, women's economic empowerment, livelihoods, enterprise development, digital/financial inclusion, policy engagement and EVAWG interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead beneficiary selection, profiling, verification and inclusion.
  • Guide livelihood, enterprise, skills and digital/financial inclusion activities.
  • Develop and quality-assure training curricula, tools and technical standards.
  • Support enterprises, market/finance linkages, advocacy and policy engagement.
  • Maintain accurate gender-disaggregated data and technical evidence.
  • Support achievement of project targets: 1,000 women/girls verified, 500 beneficiaries selected, 7 community enterprises, 4 curricula, 100 digital finance/e-commerce participants and 400 specialized-skills trainees.

Required Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree / 16 years of education in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Livelihoods or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in gender equality, women's economic empowerment, enterprise/skills or community development.
  • Experience in training design, quality assurance, advocacy, consultations and institutional linkages.
  • Strong English and Urdu communication/facilitation and digital data skills.
  • Willingness to travel; GB/local language experience preferred.
3. PROJECT OFFICER

Position Purpose:

Coordinate field implementation, community mobilization, logistics, participant records, monitoring evidence and follow-up to ensure efficient and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate field activities, mobilization, logistics, trainers, consultants and stakeholders.
  • Maintain participant, attendance, assessment, feedback, consent and beneficiary records.
  • Update project trackers and prepare activity reports and evidence packages.
  • Follow up referrals and stakeholder actions and report safeguarding or implementation concerns.

Required Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies, Management or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in project implementation, community mobilization, training/event coordination, monitoring/documentation, gender or women's empowerment.
  • Strong database, documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong Urdu and working English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital data tools.
  • GB/local language experience and willingness to travel preferred.
