Eligibility Criteria

| 1 | Age Limit | Constable: 18 to 25 Years Corporal (CTU): 18 to 23 Years Age will be calculated as on last date of submission. For previous applicants, age counted as on 31 March 2026, for new applicants as on 21 September 2026. |

| 3 | Chest (Male Only) | 33 inches minimum, 34 inches with expansion |
| 4 | Domicile | Must be permanent resident of Gilgit Baltistan. Candidates from all 10 districts of GB are eligible (Open Merit). |
| 5 | Education | At least Matric pass from a recognized board. Higher qualification must be uploaded if available. Preference will be given to candidates having IT / Computer Science education and driving skills. |
| 6 | Running Test | Male: 1 Mile in 6 Minutes 30 Seconds Female: 1 Mile in 10 Minutes 30 Seconds |
Recruitment Process
Quota Distribution
- Male Open Merit (GB): 70%
- Female: 10%
- Minorities: 5% (If no minority candidate, will be added to Open Merit)
- Ex-Servicemen / SSG: 15% (Also included in general quota record)
Conditions for Ex-Servicemen
- Eligible within 2 years of retirement
- Must fulfill all prescribed eligibility criteria
- Maximum age limit: 40 Years
- Recruitment on contract basis for 5 years on allocated posts, one-time only, non-extendable
