Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, School Education Department has issued Offer of Appointment to 20 petitioners of court cases titled "Rozina Khatoon and Others V/S Prov. Govt. etc." and "Wazir Mumtaz and Others V/S Prov. Govt. and Others". The appointments are made in compliance with judgments of Honorable Supreme Appellate Court GB and GB Chief Court. These 20 petitioners out of remaining 126 have been cleared by the scrutiny committee and appointed against clear vacant positions. Dated: 3rd July, 2026.

Terms & Conditions – Appointment Orders
(i) Medical & Verification: The appointment shall be subject to medical fitness, verification of character & antecedents and verification of credentials/academic & professional degrees from concerned boards/university and with immediate effect.
(ii) Probation Period: They shall be on probation for a period of one year with effect from the date of their charge assumption. The appointment on probation shall be subject to GB Civil Servants Act, 2011.
(iii) Fake Credentials: If their credentials are found fake/bogus/altered at any stage of their service then their appointment shall be cancelled and treated as void ab-initio.
(iv) Seniority: They will be placed at the bottom of existing seniority lists of their respective cadres. However, the inter-se-seniority of all petitioners will be determined in accordance with their initial appointment orders in their respective cadres once all the petitioners are appointed.
(v) Pension Deduction: This offer is subject to mandatory condition of 10% monthly deduction from pay towards the Defined Contributory Pension Scheme, as per OM of Finance Division bearing No. F-9(3)-Reg-6/2023 dated 20th August, 2024 subsequent S.R.O 1718(I)/2025, dated 17th August, 2025 and Section-18 of Gilgit-Baltistan Finance Act-2025.
(vi) Remaining Petitioners: Remaining petitioners, who have been cleared by the scrutiny committee, shall be appointed when clear vacant posts in their respective Tehsil/UCs and Hard Areas become available.
Important Instructions for Appointed Candidates
2. If the offer is acceptable to the above named petitioners on the given terms and conditions, they are advised to submit their acceptance along-with medical fitness certificate, character antecedent certificate within 15 days to this office after issuance of this offer of appointment.
