Terms of Reference (TORs) – Coordinator ECD RDI 2026
1. Programme Management: Lead planning, implementation, and monitoring of ECD programmes in assigned areas
2. Work Planning: Develop annual ECD work plans, targets, and budgets
3. Quality Assurance: Ensure quality implementation of ECD curriculum and learning activities
4. Team Supervision: Supervise ECD teachers, facilitators, and field staff
5. Field Monitoring: Conduct regular monitoring visits and provide technical support to ECD centers
6. Capacity Building: Organize training and professional development activities for ECD staff
7. Child Development: Promote holistic child development including cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language development
8. Parent Engagement: Facilitate parent engagement and caregiver education initiatives
9. Coordination: Coordinate with government departments, schools, community leaders, and development partners
10. Data Management: Maintain programme records and ensure accurate data collection and reporting
11. Reporting: Prepare donor, management, and programme progress reports
12. Programme Development: Support development of new ECD initiatives, proposals, and partnerships
13. Additional Tasks: Any other task assigned by the senior management
Key Deliverables – Coordinator ECD RDI
1. ECD programme activities implemented according to approved plans and targets
2. ECD centers are regularly monitored and quality standards maintained
3. Training and mentoring sessions conducted for ECD teachers and facilitators
4. Parent and caregiver engagement activities implemented and documented
5. Programme reports, data records, and donor updates submitted accurately and on time
Core Competencies Required
1. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of child development, early learning methodologies, and ECD standards
2. Programme Management: Ability to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate programme activities effectively
3. Leadership: Ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate ECD staff and teachers
4. Partnership Building: Ability to build partnerships and maintain effective relationships with communities and institutions
Qualifications & Experience – Coordinator ECD 2026
1. Education: Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development, Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in ECD, education, or child development programmes
3. Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory or coordination experience
4. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ECD curriculum implementation, teacher training, and community engagement
5. Language: Proficiency in English and Urdu
