VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
National Disaster Management Authority - NDMA seeks to hire the services of eligible candidates purely on contract basis on lump sum package for an initial period of 24 months. These purely contractual posts are extendable on requirement basis. The posts will be filled on open merit basis.

Expected Salary - PPS Scales
Lump sum monthly packages based on Project Pay Scale - PPS and domain expertise:
- PPS-09 - Manager Level: Rs. 400,000 - 650,000/month
- PPS-08 - Deputy Manager Level: Rs. 300,000 - 450,000/month
- PPS-07 - Assistant Manager Level: Rs. 200,000 - 350,000/month
Note: Final package depends on domain skills & relevant experience. These are premium tech salaries in government sector.

Manager - PPS-09
- Education: MS/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, IoT, GIS, Electrical Engineering or related from HEC recognized university
- Experience: 8-12 years in relevant field. Leadership experience required
- Skills: Team management, project delivery, AI/ML, IoT architecture, Digital Twins, XR
Deputy Manager - PPS-08
- Education: MS/MPhil or BS - 16 years in CS, IT, Software Engg, Data Science, GIS, Electronics
- Experience: 5-8 years in AI, IoT, embedded systems, forecasting, simulation
- Skills: Python, TensorFlow, IoT protocols, M2M, Digital Twin platforms, Risk modeling
Assistant Manager - PPS-07
- Education: BS - 4 years / MS in CS, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, GIS, Geoinformatics, Electronics
- Experience: 2-5 years in ML, Data Analytics, IoT, Embedded, Wireless Networks, AR/VR, Hydrology modeling
- Skills: Python, R, SQL, Power BI, ArcGIS, Unity/Unreal, Embedded C, LoRaWAN, MQTT, Sensor networks
Key Technology Domains at NDMA
1. AI & Data Intelligence: Predictive modeling for floods, earthquakes, GLOF. ML for early warning systems.
2. IoT & Smart Sensing: River gauges, weather stations, seismic sensors, M2M networks across Pakistan.
3. Digital Twins: Virtual replicas of river basins, cities, infrastructure for simulation and disaster planning.
