Gilgit Baltistan Pharmacy Council has issued an important Notice for all pharmacy institutions affiliated with the council. The Annual Pharmacy Technician Exams 2026 are starting from 15th June 2026. Roll number slips will be available from 5th June 2026. Students of 1st Year and 2nd Year/Supplementary should check the schedule below.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Roll Number Slips: All candidates must collect their roll number slips from their respective institutions from 5th June 2026 onwards
- Exam Centres: Details will be mentioned on roll number slips. Exams held in Gilgit-Baltistan
- Documents Required: Original CNIC/B-Form + Roll Number Slip mandatory for entry in exam hall
- Timings: Reach exam centre 30 minutes before paper time. Latecomers not allowed

About Pharmacy Technician Course in GB
1. Course Duration: 2 Years Diploma recognized by Pharmacy Council of Pakistan and GB Pharmacy Council. Required for medical store license and pharmacy jobs.
2. Career Scope: Pharmacy Technicians can work in hospitals, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies. Eligible for Category-B medical store license after 2 years experience. Starting salary Rs. 35,000-60,000/month in GB.
3. Further Studies: After Pharmacy Technician, eligible for Pharm-D 5 year program via lateral entry. Also eligible for BS programs.
4. GB Pharmacy Council: Regulates pharmacy education and practice in Gilgit-Baltistan. Issues licenses and conducts exams for Pharmacy Technicians in the region.

Exam Preparation Tips for Pharmacy Technician Students
- 1st Year Subjects: Focus on Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutics-I, Pharmacognosy. Past papers 2022-2025 important
- 2nd Year Subjects: Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics-II, Hospital Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy, Law & Ethics
- Practical: Viva and practical exams held after theory. Revise dispensing, compounding, instrument handling
- Supply Students: Only appear in failed subjects. Check date sheet carefully for subject-wise schedule
- Result: Usually announced within 60 days on GB Pharmacy Council website and institutions
