1. Quota Implementation: The distribution of vacancies among Occupational Groups and Services has been carried out by incorporating both fresh and carried-forward vacancies from previous years, in accordance with Provincial/Regional, Women and Minorities quotas prescribed under Establishment Division’s O.M. No. 4/10/2006-R-2 dated 12.02.2007, O.M. No. 4/15/2006-R-2 dated 22.05.2007, O.M. No. 4/15/94-R-2 dated 26.05.2009, clarification issued vide O.M. No. 4/10/2006-R-2 dated 18.03.2020, and notification SRO No. 747(I)/2020 dated 19.08.2020.
2. Allocation Method: The allocation of candidates to various Occupational Groups and Services shall be made based on their merit positions, suitability as determined by the Commission, stated preferences and respective domiciles.
3. Punjab Dominance: Punjab has the highest share with 157 posts (50%), followed by KPK 43 posts (11.5%), Sindh-R 30 posts (11.4%), Sindh-U 28 posts (7.6%), Balochistan 28 posts (6%), Ex-FATA 16 posts (3%), AJK 07 posts (2%), GB 03 posts (1%), and Merit 15 posts (7.5%).
4. Carried Over Vacancies: Out of 327 total posts, 136 are carried over from previous years, mainly in Minorities and Women quotas, indicating underutilization of reserved seats.
What CSS 2025 Aspirants Should Know
1. Total Seats Increased: With 327 vacancies, CSS 2025 offers more seats than CSS 2024, especially in PAS, IRS, PSP, and OMG.
2. Women & Minorities: 35 seats for Women and 123 seats for Minorities are available. Female and minority candidates have strong chances due to carried over vacancies.
3. GB & AJK: Only 03 seats for GB and 07 for AJK. Competition will be extremely high for these regions.
4. Group Preferences: Candidates should fill group preferences wisely in CSS MPT/CE forms. PAS, FSP, and PSP remain top choices but PAAS, IRS, and OMG also offer excellent career paths.
5. Final Allocation: Allocation depends on final merit after written, psychological, and viva voce. Provincial domicile determines quota.
