18th Batch Recruitment – Gilgit Baltistan Scouts
The Gilgit Baltistan Scouts have announced recruitment for the 18th Batch. Pakistani male citizens meeting the eligibility criteria are invited to apply and appear for registration, physical tests, and written examinations as per the official schedule. - Clerk Soldier – BPS-5 – 10 Posts
- Driver Soldier – BPS-5 – 10 Posts
- Cook Soldier (Preference for Anti-Narcotics) – BPS-5 – 10 Posts
- Computer Soldier (Intermediate + Computer Course Certificate) – BPS-5 – 20 Posts
- Medical Soldier (Intermediate + Medical Course Certificate) – BPS-7 – 14 Posts
- Skilled Soldier (Electrician, Plumber, Welder, Carpenter, Mechanic, Painter, Tailor, Cobbler, Blacksmith, etc.) – BPS-7 – 14 Posts
- Armed Soldier (Anti-Narcotics) – BPS-5 – 4 Posts
- Nursing Soldier – BPS-5 – 1 Post
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Middle or Intermediate depending on post.
- Age Limit: 18–25 years (±20 days).
- Physical Test mandatory for General Duty Soldiers.
- Preference given to candidates with relevant technical or medical certifications.
Recruitment Schedule
Candidates must report at 07:00 AM at the designated centers for registration and physical tests.
- District Gilgit & Hunza – Registration: 07:00–10:00, Physical Test: 10:00–16:00, Written Test: 8–10 August 2026
- District Nagar & Ghizer – Registration: 07:00–10:00, Physical Test: 10:00–16:00, Written Test: 8–10 August 2026
- District Astore & Diamer – Registration: 07:00–10:00, Physical Test: 10:00–16:00, Written Test: 8–10 August 2026
- District Skardu, Ghanche, Shigar & Kharmang – Registration: 07:00–10:00, Physical Test: 10:00–16:00, Written Test: 8–10 August 2026

Instructions & Conditions
- All candidates must pass the physical test (including mandatory pull-ups).
- Government employees must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Successful candidates will be called for training.
- During training, candidates will receive stipend, free accommodation, and food.
- After training, candidates will be appointed to service.
- Service benefits include salary, allowances, promotions, medical facilities, and pension.
How to Apply – Step by Step
- Prepare all required documents (CNIC, educational certificates, domicile, photographs).
- Arrive at the designated recruitment center at 07:00 AM on the scheduled date.
- Complete registration between 07:00–10:00 AM.
- Participate in the physical test between 10:00–16:00 (pull-ups required).
- If successful, attend the written test on the announced dates.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for training and final selection.
