AKES Pakistan Gilgit-Baltistan Vacancies 2026
1. ECD Teacher Educator
Responsibilities: Assist teachers in teaching and learning. Conduct professional development sessions, workshops and trainings. Create High Scope teaching environment with low/no cost materials. Maintain students' portfolios, assessment records, reading logs. Conduct demo lessons in pre-primary classes. Arrange valley-wise networking sessions for parents/community. Coordinate with AKHS and AKRSP Staff (FHO's and LHV's). Develop session plans/lesson plans and review pacing guides.
Eligibility: 16 years of education, preferably in Education. B.Ed desirable. Six-month diploma in ECD/ECE/Montessori from recognized institution preferred. At least 3 years teaching experience at pre-primary level.
2. AKU-EB Curriculum Support Specialist for Urdu, Gilgit-Baltistan
Responsibilities: Assist Senior Manager, AKU-EB Support Unit in implementation of AKU-EB school development plans. Improve student and teacher performance. Develop plans for improvement of assessment and evaluation in line with AKES Pakistan's vision.
Eligibility: 16 years of education with specialization in Urdu. Proficiency and command of content knowledge. Preferably M.Ed/B.Ed. Minimum 03 years teaching experience at reputable institution. Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and ICT integration desirable.
3. AKU-EB Curriculum Support Specialist for English, Gilgit-Baltistan

Responsibilities: Overall management of library, accessioning, classification and cataloguing of books, maintaining records, performing need analysis, inventory management.
Eligibility: Master's degree in Library and Information Sciences. Minimum 1 year relevant experience. Computer skills in MS Office, library software and effective interpersonal skills essential.
6. Junior Human Resource Officer – Education Office, Gilgit-Baltistan
Responsibilities: Support HR recruitment - sourcing candidates online, updating job ads, background checks. Managing HR data, maintaining filing systems, updating employee records, organizing and auditing HR files, scanning and archiving documents, supporting data entry and HRIS updates.
Eligibility: 16 years of education/Master's in IT or HR. Minimum 1 year experience in similar capacity at institution of good repute. Strong computer skills, proficiency in English, strong interpersonal/reading skills essential.
