The Lady Medical Officer will play a key role in delivering SRHR, FP, and MNCH services to women, adolescents, and marginalized groups.
Job Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Provide SRHR, FP, and MNCH services through outreach clinics and community platforms.
- Ensure safe, confidential, and non‑discriminatory services for women and minority populations.
- Conduct clinical assessments, counseling, and referrals as per national guidelines.
Quality of Care & Clinical Compliance
- Ensure compliance with national SRHR guidelines and infection prevention standards.
- Support mentoring of paramedical staff and FP counsellors.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reporting formats.
Community Engagement
- Participate in community awareness sessions to address myths and cultural barriers.
- Promote informed choice, consent, and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with community mobilizers to ensure culturally sensitive outreach.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with project teams, health facilities, and district authorities.
- Submit service delivery reports, referral records, and outreach summaries.
- Support documentation of case studies and success stories.
Expected Deliverables
- Monthly outreach service delivery reports.
- Referral and follow‑up documentation.
- Participation reports from community activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS with a valid PMDC license.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (house job).
- Experience in SRHR, FP, or MNCH preferred.
- Experience in outreach or humanitarian settings is an advantage.
- Strong clinical, communication, and counseling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned districts.
