Currently, Read Foundation is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. Project Officer (Orphan Support Service)

Location: Islamabad
Job Type: Full-Time

As a Project Officer for the Orphan Support Service, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the programs designed to support orphaned children enrolled in Read Foundation schools. This includes ensuring that all orphan sponsorship programs are efficiently run, that the needs of the children are met, and that all operations are conducted in line with the foundation’s policies and objectives. You will coordinate with different departments, donors, and schools to ensure that each orphan receives the care and resources they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee orphan support programs.
  • Liaise with donors, schools, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor the progress and well-being of orphans enrolled in Read Foundation programs.
  • Prepare and submit reports on program performance and impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the development sector.

2. Data Entry Officer (Orphan Support Service)

Location: Islamabad
Job Type: Full-Time

As a Data Entry Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely data entry for the Orphan Support Service program. This role is crucial for maintaining records and ensuring that all data related to orphans, donors, and sponsorship programs is kept up-to-date. You will work closely with the Project Officer and other team members to ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and update data for the Orphan Support Service program.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entries.
  • Generate reports and summaries from the database.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new data management systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and data management skills.
  • Prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

3. Deputy Manager (Orphan Support Service)

Location: Islamabad
Job Type: Full-Time

The Deputy Manager for Orphan Support Service will assist in overseeing the entire program. This includes managing the team, working with donors, and ensuring that the program runs smoothly across all Read Foundation schools. The role will involve frequent reporting, coordination with external stakeholders, and operational oversight to ensure that the foundation's objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in overseeing the Orphan Support Service program.
  • Ensure the implementation of strategic objectives for orphan care.
  • Maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.
  • Manage the team to ensure the smooth functioning of the program.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in social work, management, or development studies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

4. Procurement Officer

Location: Islamabad
Job Type: Full-Time

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process for all Read Foundation operations. This includes ensuring that all materials, supplies, and services are purchased efficiently, at the best possible prices, and in line with the foundation’s procurement policies. The Procurement Officer will coordinate with multiple departments and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement of materials and services for Read Foundation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards.
  • Prepare procurement reports and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

5. Assistant Manager (Education)

Location: Islamabad
Job Type: Full-Time

The Assistant Manager (Education) will assist in managing the academic operations of Read Foundation schools. This role will involve coordinating with school principals, ensuring the implementation of the curriculum, and working on teacher training programs to improve the quality of education delivered. The Assistant Manager will also be involved in monitoring academic progress and reporting to the senior management on educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing academic operations across Read Foundation schools.
  • Coordinate with schools to ensure curriculum standards are met.
  • Work on teacher training and professional development programs.
  • Monitor and report on educational outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in education, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the education sector.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
