Posts

1. Assistant Private Secretary (BPS-16)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: B.A/B.Sc. 2nd Class from a recognized University with a minimum speed of:
  • 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand.
  • 50 w.p.m. in typing.
  • Certificate in Microsoft Office & Internet (e-mail) etc., plus proficiency in computer usage.
  • Note: Preference will be given to qualifications in the subjects of Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, and Political Science.
• Age Limit (Years): 18-30
• Quota: Punjab (Open) = 01

2. Foreman (Mechanical) (BPS-16)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: DAE (Mechanical) from a recognized institute plus 03 years of service as Assistant Foreman (Mechanical)/Workshop Superintendent in a Power House.
• Age Limit (Years): 18-30
• Quota: Punjab (Open) = 01

3. High Pressure Welder (BPS-16)

• No. of Posts: 02
• Qualification/Experience:
  • DAE (Mechanical) Tech. (Specialization in Metallurgy and Welding) plus 05 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • OR DAE (Mechanical) plus 05 years of experience as Low Pressure Welder.
  • OR Post Matriculate G-II Level / 2-year Vocational Trade Certificate as Welder from any recognized Board of Technical Education/Trade Testing Board (TTB) plus 06 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Note: Proficiency/Skill Test will be applicable.

• Quota: Punjab (Open) = 01

4. Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (BPS-15)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: DAE (Electrical) from a recognized institute plus 03 years of experience as Jr. Technician (Electrical)/AC, Winder, Cable Jointer in a Power House.
• Age Limit (Years): 18-30
• Quota: Punjab (Open) = 01, KPK (Open) = 01

5. Stenographer Gr-II (BPS-14)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: 2nd Class Graduation from a recognized university. Proficiency in MS Office, speed of 40 w.p.m. in typing, certificate in Microsoft Office and Internet (e-mail) etc., plus proficiency in computer usage.
• Age Limit (Years): 18-30
• Quota: Punjab ECQ = 01

6. Attendant (BPS-07)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: DAE (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics) from a recognized institute.

7. Line Superintendent Grade-II (BPS-14)

• Qualification/Experience: Matric with a 03-year Diploma in the relevant field from Government Poly Technical Institute or equivalent qualification.

8. Jr. Technician (Mechanical) (BPS-14)

• No. of Posts: 04
• Qualification/Experience: 2 years Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Technology from a recognized institute plus 03 years of relevant experience.

• Quota: Punjab (Open) = 01, Punjab (Women) = 01, KPK (Open) = 01, Sindh (R) ECQ = 01, FATA/GB (Open) = 01

9. Turner (BPS-14)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience:
  • Post Matriculate G-II Level/2 years vocational trade certificate as "Machinist" from any recognized Board of Technical Education/Trade Testing Board (TTB) plus 01 year's relevant experience.
  • OR Post Matriculate G-III Level / 1-year Vocational Trade Certificate as Machinist from any recognized Board of Technical Education/Trade Testing Board (TTB) with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • OR Matriculate plus 06 months course certificate as Machinist from any recognized Board of Technical Education/Trade Testing Board (TTB) with 04 years of relevant experience.
  • OR Matriculate plus equivalent PRL (Recognition of Prior Learning) from a recognized institute plus 04 years of relevant experience.
  • Note: Proficiency/Skill Test will be applicable.

10. Winder (BPS-14)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience:
  • Post Matriculate G-III Level/1 year vocational trade certificate as "Motor Winder" from any recognized Board of Technical Education/Trade Testing Board (TTB) plus 03 years of relevant experience.
  • OR Matriculate plus 06 months course certificate of Motor Winder with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • OR Matriculate plus equivalent PRL (Recognition of Prior Learning) plus 05 years of relevant experience.
  • Note: Proficiency/Skill Test will be applicable.

11. Jr. Clerk cum Computer Typist (BPS-11)

• No. of Posts: 03
• Qualification/Experience: HSSC/Intermediate / I.Com with at least 2nd Division, 40 w.p.m typing speed on PC, Certificate (at least 3 months) MS Office from any Institute/Organization.
• Age Limit (Years): 18-30

12. Crane Operator (BPS-11)

• Qualification/Experience:
  • Matriculate plus 06 months course of "Heavy Machine Operator."
  • OR Matriculate plus equivalent PRL (Recognition of Prior Learning) plus Certified Crane Operator from any reputed company plus 03 years of relevant experience.

• Qualification/Experience: Middle with 03 years of experience in a restaurant/hotel/Govt. Institution.

• Qualification/Experience: Matric with Science with at least 60% marks.
• Age Limit (Years): 18-30

• Quota: Open Merit (ECQ) = 01, Punjab (Open) = 01

General Conditions & Instructions

• Written tests will be conducted by M/S OTS, and interviews will be conducted by WAPDA.
• General age relaxation of 05 years has already been included in the age limit. An additional 03 years age relaxation is admissible to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir. Candidates belonging to Sindh (Rural) and Balochistan are also eligible for 03 years of age relaxation for posts of BPS-15 & below.
• WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
• Incomplete or incorrect applications or those received after the last date will be rejected.
• Any candidate found providing false information at any stage during induction or later in service will result in termination.
• The initial appointment will be on probation for 01 year and regularization will be subject to satisfactory performance. Services may be terminated without notice if work and conduct are unsatisfactory during the probation period.

• Pay the test fee of Rs. 200/- at any Branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL using the prescribed Bank Challan form available on the OTS website.
• Submit the complete application form with attested copies of educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, experience certificates, two recent passport size photographs, and original fee Challan via courier service/Pakistan Post to Manager Operations (WAPDA), Open Testing Service, Office No.1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-VI, Islamabad.
