Job Opportunities

We are pleased to share that the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) has awarded a Grant to the Mountain Institute for Education & Development (MIED) for the implementation of PPAF-Funded Continued School Support Project in District Ghizer. In this connection, MIED through PPAF funding has extended our support to 20 Community/Govt. Schools in District Ghizer for 36 months starting from July/Aug 2024. As a start of the interventions in these schools, MIED management will be hiring 20 qualified and experienced teachers to facilitate the teaching and learning in these project schools. All 20 newly hired teachers will be deputed in each of the schools in the villages specified in the following table (one teacher in each school). Therefore we seek applications from the interested candidates as per the following criteria:

Experience: 2 years teaching in a school

Note:

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for test & interview.
  • Local candidates from the respective villages will be preferred.
  • Special relaxation will be given to candidates from Chashi Nala & Darmander.
  • Candidates previously worked with MIED Project Schools will be given preference.
  • Salary/honorarium is fixed Rs.20,000/month/teacher for 36 months.
