Loan Limits:

The loan amounts are divided into two tiers, each with its respective pricing for working capital and soft loans:

  • Tier 1: Customer pricing not exceeding 5%
  • Tier 2: Customer pricing not exceeding 5%

Purpose of Loan:

  1. Establishing new Information Technology businesses in Gilgit-Baltistan.
  2. Expanding existing businesses in the region.

Loan-Equity Ratio:

For new business entities:

  • Tier 1: 90:10
  • Tier 2: 80:20 The borrower's equity can be in the form of cash or transferable/non-transferable property and is necessary for loan approval.

Allocation for Women and Special Persons:

  • 25% of loans will be allocated to female borrowers. If no eligible women are available, the loans will be granted to male applicants.
  • 5% of loans will be allocated to special persons. If no eligible special persons are available, the loans will be granted to other applicants.

Loan Types:

  • Machinery and equipment
  • Working capital loans

Loan Tenure:

Up to 3 years.

Repayment:

Based on Equal Monthly Installments (EMI), payable on the 1st of each month.

Fees and Charges:

According to the bank policy.

Security Requirements:

  • Tier 1 Loan: Two personal guarantees, including one from a government employee, along with other applicable bank policies.
  • Tier 2 Loan: As per the bank's credit policy.

Geographical Coverage:

The entire region of Gilgit-Baltistan.
