Job Opportunity

The National Institute of Population Studies (NIPS) is implementing an activity titled "Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS)". NIPS requires the services of suitable candidates for the project-based posts. The details are as follows:

1. Position: Facilitator

  • Duration: 120 Days
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age: Minimum age 50 years
  • Wages: 12,000/- per actual working day
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • Ph.D./MPH degree from HEC recognized/reputable national or international institution/university in Social Sciences such as Demography, Economics, Statistics, Anthropology, or Sociology and Public Health.
    • At least twenty years of experience in data collection and health/household surveys.
    • Must have conducted or supervised at least three national/global level surveys on tobacco use or related topics.

2. Position: Data Processing Manager/Data Analyst

  • Duration: 120 Days
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age: Maximum age 50 years
  • Wages: 8,000/- per actual working day
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • M.Phil/MS/MARS (16 years) degree from HEC recognized/reputable university in Computer Science/Economics/Statistics.
    • At least five years of experience in data processing, data entry supervision, troubleshooting of servers, questionnaire designing, and system administration in large surveys.
    • Strong skills in MS Office, data analysis, and other statistical packages such as CSPro, SPSS, and STATA.

3. Position: Data Entry Supervisor

  • Duration: 60 Days
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age: Maximum age 50 years
  • Wages: 3,500/- per actual working day
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • MSc/MARS degree (16 years) from HEC recognized institution/university in Social Sciences.
    • Proven experience in national surveys, data entry supervision, and system administration.

4. Position: Office Coordinator

  • Duration: 120 Days
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age: Maximum age 45 years
  • Wages: 3,000/- per actual working day
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • MSc/MARS degree (16 years of education) from HEC recognized institution/university in Social Sciences.
    • Experience in office management, coordination with provincial/regional offices, handling research files, and administrative matters.

5. Position: Provincial Coordinator

  • Duration: 120 Days
  • Number of Posts: 04
  • Age: Maximum age 45 years
  • Wages: 3,000/- per actual working day
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • MSc/MARS degree (16 years of education) from HEC recognized institution/university in Social Sciences.
    • Experience in coordinating field surveys, coordinating with field teams, and maintaining records.

6. Position: Quality Control

  • Duration: 50 Days
  • Number of Posts: 08
  • Age: Maximum age 50 years
  • Wages: 3,000/- per actual working day
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • MSc/MARS degree (16 years of education) from HEC recognized institution/university in Social Sciences.
    • Experience in field surveys, quality control, and supervision of data collection teams.

7. Position: Supervisors

  • Duration: 50 Days
  • Number of Posts: 16
  • Age: Maximum age 50 years
  • Wages: 2,500/- per actual working day
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • MSc/MA (16 years of education) from HEC recognized institution/university.
    • Experience in field surveys and team supervision.

8. Position: Enumerators (Male/Female)

  • Duration: 64 Days
  • Number of Posts: 64
  • Age: Maximum age 50 years
  • Wages: 2,000/- per actual working day
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • MSc/MA (16 years of education) from HEC recognized institution/university.
    • Experience in household surveys, data collection, and fieldwork.

9. Position: Lister/Mapper

  • Duration: 34 Days
  • Number of Posts: 34
  • Age: Maximum age 45 years
  • Wages: 2,000/- per actual working day
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • MSc/MA (16 years of education) from HEC recognized institution/university.
    • Experience in household listing and mapping for national-level household surveys.
