Job Description:

As a Field Enumerator, you will play a vital role in collecting and analyzing data for various research projects. You will be responsible for conducting surveys, data verification, and collecting information from diverse populations in local areas. The role requires sensitivity and empathy towards different communities, as well as effective communication skills in local languages spoken in Pakistan. Additionally, you will need to have basic computer skills for data entry and reporting, and the ability to work independently while adhering to project timelines and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or higher degree in any relevant field. Candidates with 12 years of education are also encouraged to apply if they possess relevant experience and skill sets.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in data collection and surveys, preferably in the health or social sector.
  • Experience working with mobile/tablet-based data collection tools and monitoring teams.
  • Attendance at workshops and trainings related to data collection is desirable.

Skills Required:

  • Sensitivity and empathy towards diverse populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in local languages (Urdu, Pashto).
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to project timelines.
  • Flexibility to travel to various project locations and work in challenging environments.
  • Proficiency in the local language(s) spoken in the project areas.
  • Knowledge of local areas in Gilgit-Baltistan is essential.
