Position: Junior Business Analyst

Background: Accelerate Prosperity (AP) is part of a new global initiative by the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) in Central and South Asia. It operates under the guidance of the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Board and aims to develop formal structures to catalyze enterprises within AKDN’s main area development programs. AP provides patient capital and tailored business advisory services to startups and businesses, complementing broader employment-related programs of AKF. It draws technical expertise from the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development’s (AKFED) Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) and coordinates efforts with AKDN’s financial institutions. The overall mandate of AP is to facilitate the creation of small and growing businesses (SGBs) with the vision of creating an inclusive and prosperous society powered by entrepreneurs.

Job Description: The Junior Business Analyst will assist the Program Team in Gilgit in various activities including in-person outreach sessions, program coordination, managing business trainings, providing technical assistance to entrepreneurs, coordinating AP’s Co-working Spaces, organizing networking events, maintaining databases, conducting surveys and evaluations, report writing, participation in relevant events, and liaison with local stakeholders.

Key Milestones / Targets:

• Maintain data of newly inducted cohorts
• Timely communication during incubation and acceleration trainings
• Facilitate the line manager to conduct events, sessions, and trainings
• Conduct quarterly surveys and fulfill data requirements as per work plan
• Weekly updates on Programme reporting.

Job Specification:

• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field in a reputable organization
• Coordinate incubation and acceleration cohorts in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral
• Proficient in using Excel and other data tools, as well as program management tools
• Exceptional team player with sound communication skills
• Willingness to adapt and learn
• Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Sound knowledge of the energy sector
• Bachelor's degree in Management Science, Business Management, Economics, or any relevant field.
