قریب ان کے آنے کے دن آرہے ہیں
جو دل سے کہاہے جو دل سےسنا ہے
سب ان کو سنانے کے دن آرہے ہیں

Time flies, days turned into weeks ,weeks into months , months into years and hence we are standing on the juncture of some regrets and few contentments .Merely being a student of political science there was an urge induced in me to shed light on political behavior of a lay man as me and my little personal assessment on the prevailing political tides of gb.GilGitbaltistan assembly is a 33 seats unicameral legislative body that is formed in part of "empowerment and self governance ordinance 2009" .elections 2015 having 14 seats won PMLN emerged as largest political party of GB in public poll, now GB is few months far from determining thrice it's so called rulers for the tenure 2020-2025 and at the moment their is uncertainity about it's forth destiny. As per course of political phenomenon all political parties have started their indirect campaign and mass mobilisation .All political parties either it be conservative, radical, nationalist ,religious or any pressure group  have aims to win or bent upon just to make loose their rivals. wheras the Inhabitants keeping blurred hopes, expectations and sense of illussion in their eyes in order that one day their will happen a miracle and a 30 maar khan will radically take GB out from the fuss and crisis at once and then forever. But ultimately politicians are almost same all over they will promise to build bridges even their is no river across. Let the time determine  this time, either it be a selection , election , pre-poll rigging, or free and fair election .Soon federal ,central political and eminent religious stake holders will be addressing/exploiting the common and simple mass of GB by chanting same political solidarity jiyalapan and religious slogans, while rest of them will be using racial(sheen, yashkun),lingual, and least nationalist cards. Perhaps some will mortgage all of their belongings just to contest elections at their own resources, while Wealthy candidates will have already gathered hell of money and sponsors to purchase each vote ,this time it will be gonna trade in billions in the name of elections by parties , Candidates and other stake holders excluding the expenditure in hundred of millions spent by election commission of Pakistan to conduct elections probably in the keen supervision of military machinery .i met bunch of youth ,first time voters who have already determined the price for their each vote upon asking the reason I was told that" it's assured that thats not our headache who is gonna win or loose as after wining the election they are not gonna see their representatives so it's better to earn some money in return of their vote inspite of sparing their valuable vote for nothing.. The dillema is if the first time voter and educated youth is pessimist to that extent about the Power of vote and it's utility how we can anticipate that this time trend will be different and a person aged 40 above will set the new trend. It has been told to the youth that politics is dirty and none should indulge themselves in it, their rises a question in my mind "why the government of Pakistan has granted fundamental voting right and NIC the day when one turns 18? ",Just because we dont know how significant this piece of card is and it's voting power we end up bringing mehdi shah into CM house. Your vote indirectly determines  the fate for your next 5 years ."ballot paper is stronger then bullet" -Abraham Lincoln, but we end up selling it or vaining it in the name of caste, sect inherited jiyalapan, Some one struggled hard for your right to vote so use it fairly. In next article the  light will be beemed on prevailing political ground of gb and analysis of gone 5 years.
