Correction of some Confused Assertions of Pakistan History

 Written By;  Asif Ali Barzang

History as a subject in the schools was abolished by the government of field marshal Muhammad Ayoub Khan. Its place has been taken by a subject called “MuashratiUluum” or “Social studies” for classes 1-8 and by another subject called “Mutala a Pakistan” or “Pakistan Studies” for classes 9-12. Both are amalgams of bits of geography, history, economics, civics, Islamic Studies and international studies.
Here I want to share my readers some historical facts about the fabricated history of the struggle for
Pakistan movement and the History which our Democratic leaders and Dictators distorted after the creation of Pakistan for their self interest and so called national interest. The list which I compiled (from the different sources) is below.
The war of 1857 was not the war of independence it was the war of revolt. Because there are no evidence of general empathy of Indians to the worriers of 1857 war.
Sir Syed did not wish that India should be divided and a Muslim state should be create. He only used the word “Nation” for Muslims and he is not the thinker of Pakistan.
The Indian National Congress was established neither by the Hindus nor by the A.O Hume actually there were Hindus, Muslims and Parsis in the gathering and Hume favoured its emergence. Partition of Bengal effected in 1905 not 1901. And the new provinces were not called east Bengal and west Bengal, But Eastern Bengal and western Bengal.
All India Muslim League was found in 1906.
The actual name of 1940 resolution is Lahore resolution not Pakistan resolution. Because the Resolution demanded “Independent States” not separate. And it was passed in 24 march 1940 not 23 March.
At Alah Abad in 1930 Allama Iqbal did not demand for a separate homeland and he did not argued for the Two Nations Theory. Actually he spoke about an autonomous provinces for Muslims inside the Indian Federation. He categorically said tha he never used the word Pakistan a separate homeland.
The Luckhnow pact is presented in our text books as a victory of the Muslim league but no mention is made in the text books on the fact that the Muslims of Bengal and Punjab lost their right to rule.
The Independence Day of Pakistan is 15 August 1947 not 14.
Quaid e Azam was not elected as a Governor General by election he was appointed by the British King as a Governor General of Pakistan through nomination.
The title of Qaid e Millat for Liaqat Ali Khan was not bestowed by the Nation actually some newspapers and some Muslim leaguers called him a Quaid Millat.

These categories of corrections open our eyes to the various ways in which history has been manipulated, polluted, ill-used and trampled underfoot. Every means of destruction has been employed to achieve the purpose. Every government made the curriculum according to their wishes and the so called national interest and another government comes and they change it according to their mind. There are plain lies things which have absolutely no existence in reality or fact. There are deviations of all kinds’ lapse, flaws, self-deception, wishful thinking, subjective views, warped notions, loose arguments, preconceived ideas, parochialism, and super facility, misjudgement misbelief, over sight, slips of pen, inattentiveness, and aberrations of every variety.
