Join Pakistan Army - Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 2018

Applications are invited to join the Pakistan Army through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) in the Army Education Corps (AEC) and Psychologist fields. The official advertisement will be published in Express & Jang Newspapers on 14th January 2018.

Qualification / Age Criteria:

For Army Education Corps (AEC):

• MA / MSc in the following disciplines:
  • Management Sciences
  • Biology (Zoology/Botany)
  • Geography
  • English
  • NIA / IR
  • Islamic Studies
  • Urdu
  • Arabic

Age Limit: 28 Years

For Psychologist:

• General Psychologists with MA/MSc qualification

Age Limit: 28 Years

Common Features:

1. Minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4 or 60% marks in the annual system for sciences / Management Sciences and Biology subjects.
2. Minimum CGPA of 2 out of 4 or 50% marks in the annual system for Islamic Studies, Urdu, IR, Arabic, Geography, English, and Psychology.
3. No 3rd Division or grade D, and only one 2nd Division / Grade C throughout the academic career from Matric to Post Graduation. Exceptions include Urdu, Islamic Studies, and Arabic, for which more than one 2nd Division is acceptable.
4. M.Phil / MS candidates will be given preference.
5. Candidates graduated only from HEC / PEC recognized universities or foreign universities recognized by HEC are eligible.
6. Candidates who acquired MA / MSc Degree as private candidates are not eligible.
7. In the case of Islamic Studies, those holding an MA Islamic Studies degree as private candidates are eligible provided they have acquired a BA/B.Sc degree as regular candidates.
