Recruitment & Selection at SBP

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is committed to attracting and retaining talented individuals through a transparent recruitment process. The State Bank Officers Training Scheme (SBOTS) appoints candidates in OG-2 Grade based on merit and provincial/regional quotas set by the Federal Government.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with 16 years of education. Qualifications are accepted in various disciplines including Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems and Technology, Mathematics, Human Resources, and Agriculture.

Age Limit: Candidates must be under the age of 26 years on the last date of submission of the application.

Written Test & Interview: Shortlisted candidates undergo a written test, and those who qualify are invited for a group discussion/interview.

Pre-induction Training: Selected candidates undergo pre-induction training at the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), Islamabad.

Remuneration: Selected candidates receive a competitive compensation package and allowances. Additional benefits include medical facilities for self and dependents, interest-free home loan, car loan, PC/laptop loan, and group term assurance.
