General Instructions - How to Apply
- Apply Online Only through www.npftas.pk / www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk within 15 days of publication of advertisement. Cut-off date for age calculation is 02.09.2026.
- Fee Rs.2000/- per application / per post for processing & tests. Non-refundable.
- Fee can be paid through 1Link-1Bill via Bank/ATM/Internet Banking/Easypaisa/JazzCash/U Paisa/TimePay using 24 digits PSID generated on fee challan from portal.
- If applying for more than one post, pay fee separately for each post. Physical test will be passed only once.
- Applications by hand, courier or any other channel will NOT be entertained. No hard copies required till interview stage.
- No relaxation in height, chest and age shall be granted.
- False information liable to be proceeded under Section 420/468/471 PPC punishable with 7 years imprisonment.
- Candidate must disclose criminal case involvement (discharged, challaned, acquitted, convicted, FIR cancellation) as undertaking online + affidavit at interview. False undertaking = cancellation + debarred + legal action.
- Transgender person can apply as per self-perceived gender identity as per Transgender Persons Act 2018 and gender in CNIC.
- Government employees apply through proper channel. Family claim (son/grand-son, daughter/grand-daughter of serving/retired/deceased police employee) must provide FRC, pension book, retirement order at interview.
- Character & academic verification of selected candidates will be done. Bogus/false info or criminal record = immediate cancellation & legal action.
- Exam center details available at portal, candidates can select 2 test centers priority-wise. Final designation is domain of ICT Police.
- Wear joggers / suitable shoes and bring drinking water bottle during endurance test. Get medically checked from Govt/District Hospital for complete fitness before endurance test and bring medical report.
- Only candidates qualifying physical/endurance and computer-based / written tests will be called for interview. Failing any stage = disqualification for next stage.
