Eligibility Criteria – UNDP Project Associate 2026
1. Age: 18 - 80 years
2. Nationality: Candidate must be a national, legal resident or hold refugee status in Pakistan.
3. Required Experience: 3 years total experience. Relevant experience: 1 year minimum.
4. Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or Political Science, including Development Studies, International Development, Public Administration, Project Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
5. Languages: English – Level: Working knowledge. Desirable: Urdu – Level: Native language.
Job Description – Project Associate UNDP FRP
Against this background, FRP is looking for a Project Associate who will support the FRP team in managing the day-to-day project implementation. The incumbent will assist in the design and implementation of project activities, while ensuring high quality, accuracy, and consistency of work.
The Project Associate will demonstrate a client-oriented approach, tact, and ability to work with people of different cultural backgrounds. S/he will work in close collaboration with other project colleagues of the FRP team, as well as with other UNDP Pakistan CO units, government officials, technical advisors and experts, donors and civil society to successfully implement the activities.
Skills and Experience Required
1. Project Management: Proven experience in project management and project implementation.
2. Partnership Development: Experience of effective partnership development with government counterparts, development partners and civil society.
3. IT Skills: Proficiency in standard software applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. is required.
4. Added Advantage: Experience in policy analysis, research, or reporting will be added advantage.
