Educational / Professional Qualification
1. Minimum Qualification: Minimum Graduation in Business Studies and / or Finance and / or Commerce and / or Economics and / or Accounting and / or Engineering and / or relevant field and / or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.
2. Preferred Qualification: Candidates having a Master's degree and / or professional qualifications, such as CA, ICMA, ACCA or CMA and / or relevant certification(s) and / or additional certifications, such as CFA (any level) or FRM would be preferred.
Experience Required
• Minimum 02 years of experience in Banking Industry, out of which 01 year of experience in Corporate Credit and / or Corporate Lending is mandatory.
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
1. Financial Analysis: Financial analysis with strong write-up skills
2. IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office
3. Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset, ownership and ability to work under pressure
4. Credit Skills: Strong capability in preparing credit memos and managing client engagements
5. Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of SBP Commercial / Corporate Borrower regulations and credit products for large borrowers
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities – Relationship Manager NBP
1. Client Origination: To identify, originate and onboard new corporate clients in line with the Bank's risk appetite and growth strategy, including screening of prospects as per approved target market and policies.
2. Relationship Management: To manage end-to-end client relationships i.e. from pitch preparation and facility structuring to disbursement, portfolio monitoring and ongoing client servicing.
3. Credit Proposals: To prepare timely and comprehensive credit proposals, including assessment of industry dynamics, client strengths / weaknesses and ensuring proper documentation and housekeeping of assigned accounts.
4. Business Development: To work closely with the Unit Head to identify top-tier prospects within assigned segments, analyze their competitive positioning and mitigate potential risks while positioning the Bank as the preferred financial partner.
5. Risk Monitoring: To proactively manage and monitor the Bank's exposure across assigned accounts, ensuring facilities are appropriately structured, classified, and controlled in line with credit processes.
6. Revenue Growth: To drive revenue growth by cross-selling Trade Finance, Cash Management, Treasury / FX, and other banking solutions, in collaboration with Product Teams (Treasury, Transaction Banking, Trade and Investment Banking), and achieve assigned business targets.
7. Team Support: To support the team in maximizing revenues from both new and existing clients through effective relationship management and product penetration.
8. Other Tasks: To perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor(s).
