MEPCO is one of the biggest Distribution Companies of Electricity in the Public Sector serving more than 8.1 million consumers having 15000+ employees with annual turnover of more than Rs. 300 Billion and consisting of operational area covering 15 districts of Punjab. The Charter of MEPCO is to provide reliable and safe electric power supply to its consumers in its jurisdiction.
Applications are invited from dynamic and high-calibre professional candidates (male/female) from all over Pakistan for the following positions. The appointments shall be made strictly on a contractual basis, renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance evaluation, and shall not confer any right to permanent employment or entitlement to post-retirement benefits.

BPS-18 Deputy Manager Level – 04 Posts (Age up to 45):
1. DM Legal/Contracts: LLB + 5 years exp (2 years High Court)
2. DM Finance: CA/ICMA or MBA Finance + 5 years exp in Audit/Accounts
3. DM Demand Forecasting: BE/BS Electrical + PEC + 5 years exp (3 years demand forecasting)
4. DM Regulatory Affairs: 16 years degree + 5 years exp (3 years regulatory affairs)
BPS-17 Assistant Manager Level – 02 Posts (Age up to 35):
1. AM Demand Forecasting: BE/BS Electrical + PEC + 3 years exp (1 year demand forecasting)
2. AM Transmission Planning: BE/BS Electrical + PEC + 3 years exp (1 year transmission planning 132KV)
Salary & Benefits
2. SALARY: Lump sum market based Pay Packages. Competitive compensation as per MEPCO policy for contract positions. No pension or post-retirement benefits.

Important Terms & Conditions
1. The prospective candidate must be a Pakistani Citizen.
2. HEC equivalence is mandatory for foreign degrees.
3. Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel with NOC from department, which will also be required at time of interview.
4. Candidate must not have been dismissed, removed, or compulsorily retired from any public/private service.
5. Candidates having criminal record, involved in financial fraud, misconduct, or declared willful defaulters by any financial institution shall be disqualified.
6. Candidates Dismissed / Terminated from any organization or having criminal record shall not be eligible. A declaration on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- to above effect should be provided at time of interview.
7. Only candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria will be shortlisted.
8. Mere qualifying the written test shall not confer any right to shortlisting, selection, or appointment.
9. Candidates shall produce all original documents at the time of interview for verification.
10. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
11. Age relaxation as per policy in vogue in MEPCO has already been included in above mentioned age limit and no further age relaxation will be granted.
12. The positions are purely contractual in nature, non-pensionable, no long-term benefit and shall not be converted into permanent position.
13. MEPCO reserves the right to quash / cancel the whole recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
