Eligibility Criteria – STIs Special Education Department Punjab
1. Qualification: Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC).
2. Age Limit: 21-28 Years. Age relaxation: Male upto 05-years, Female upto 08-Years, Disable Persons upto 15 years.
3. Experience: Fresh aspiring candidates having relevant qualification are encouraged to apply. However, preference may be given to candidates having teaching experience.
4. Braille Certificate: Mandatory for VI (Visually Impaired) posts issued by Directorate General of Special Education, Punjab.
Terms & Conditions – School Teaching Interns STIs 2026
1. Nature of Engagement: Engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific and non-transferable.
2. Duration: 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2025-26 & 2026-27 or till arrival of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier.
3. Monthly Honorarium:
• BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-
• BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-
4. No Regular Appointment: No right of regular appointment shall be conferred.
5. Performance Monitoring: Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored by concerned authorities.
6. Termination: Engagement may be terminated on one month notice or payment in lieu thereof.
