Important Information / Application Guidelines – IST Jobs 2026
1. Qualification: All degrees must be from HEC recognized universities/institutions. First class/division is mandatory. Only one second division allowed in entire academic career except for Sr.13.
2. First Division: Minimum 60% marks or CGPA 2.5/4.0. Second Division: Minimum 50% marks or CGPA 2.0/4.0. No third division allowed.
3. Location: All posts are Islamabad based. Tests/Interviews will be conducted at IST Islamabad campus only.
4. Age: Calculated on closing date. Age relaxation for Ex-Govt officials/Ex-servicemen as per Govt rules.
5. Contract: Initial contract for 2 years, extendable based on performance.
6. NOC: Ex-servicemen must submit NOC from GHQ/Air HQ/Naval HQ. Serving Govt employees must submit NOC from department.
7. One Post Only: Applicants can apply for one post only, as per eligibility.
8. Documents: Attested copies of degrees, transcripts, final marks sheets, CNIC, experience certificates, PEC/NCEAC certificate if required, retirement order, LPC, NOC, and recent photograph must be attached.
Ineligibility Criteria
1. Non-citizens of Pakistan and dual nationality holders are not eligible.
2. Ex-employees of NCA organizations who resigned from service.
3. Persons dismissed or removed from service due to disciplinary proceedings.
4. Persons convicted by court of competent jurisdiction and NRO beneficiaries.
