Eligibility Criteria – WAPDA Security Officers
1. Director (Security) BPS-19 – 02 Posts
Qualification: Retired Colonel / Lieutenant Colonel or of equivalent rank from Armed Forces.
Age Limit: Maximum 52 Years as on last date of receipt of applications. No further age relaxation allowed.
Pay Scale: BPS-19 – Approx Rs. 180,000 to Rs. 280,000+ per month plus project allowance when posted at Projects.
Job Role: Lead security of WAPDA installations, dams, powerhouses, and projects. Supervise security staff, coordinate with LEAs, intelligence agencies. Risk assessment, access control, and crisis management for mega projects like Diamer Basha Dam, Mohmand Dam, Dasu Hydropower.
2. Deputy Director (Security) BPS-18 – 03 Posts
Qualification: Retired officers of the Armed Forces of the rank of Major or equivalent. Preference will be given to those having experience in the relevant field.
Age Limit: Maximum 50 Years as on last date. No further age relaxation.
Pay Scale: BPS-18 – Approx Rs. 150,000 to Rs. 220,000+ per month plus project allowance.
Job Role: Assist Director Security in physical security, intelligence, surveillance, and law enforcement coordination. Manage security operations at WAPDA sites, colonies, and construction areas. Handle VIP security, investigations, and emergency response.
General Conditions & Instructions – WAPDA Recruitment 2026
1. Contract Duration: Appointment on contract initially for 01 year with 06 months probation period, extendable on satisfactory performance of individual/requirement of Organization.
2. No Regularization: The services on contract basis shall not be regularized.
3. Project Allowance: Project allowance shall be admissible on posting at Projects only.
4. Eligibility: Only eligible/shortlisted candidates shall be called for test/interview. No TA/DA shall be admissible.
5. Age Calculation: Age will be calculated as on last date of receipt of applications. No further age relaxation allowed.
6. Documents: Original documents must be presented at interview. Candidates weeded out of service on disciplinary grounds or dismissed/debarred are not eligible.
7. Medical Fitness: Applicant must be medically and physically fit.
8. WAPDA Rights: WAPDA reserves right to withhold/cancel recruitment at any stage. Number of posts can be decreased or increased as per requirement.
9. Rejection: Applications carrying incomplete/incorrect information or received after last date shall be rejected. Bogus documents result in termination.
