This is the largest Social Mobilizer recruitment in Balochistan under Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Project. Each district will have one Community Activist for plantation campaigns and forest conservation awareness.
Eligibility Criteria – Social Mobilizer Jobs Balochistan 2026
1. Qualification: Graduate in Social Work / Sociology from HEC recognized university. Candidates with BA Social Work, MA Sociology, BS Community Development preferred.
2. Experience: At least 02 years relevant professional experience in community mobilization, NGO sector, plantation campaigns, social work, or rural development. Details given in TORs.
3. Age Limit: Maximum 43 Years on closing date. Age relaxation as per Balochistan Government policy.
4. Skills Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills in local languages including Balochi, Pashto, Brahvi. Knowledge of community engagement, awareness sessions, plantation drives, school programs. Ability to work in field areas and remote districts. Report writing and MS Office skills.
Job Description – Social Mobilizer / Community Activist / Plantation Campaign Coordinator
1. Community Mobilization: Organize community meetings, jirgas, school awareness programs on forest conservation, climate change, and Green Pakistan Programme in assigned district.
2. Plantation Campaigns: Coordinate tree plantation drives, nursery distribution, Ten Billion Tree Tsunami activities with local communities, schools, and farmers.
3. Social Awareness: Conduct door-to-door campaigns, seminars, workshops on environmental protection, wildlife conservation, and forest fire prevention.
4. Reporting: Prepare monthly progress reports, success stories, photo documentation of plantation activities for Project Director UGPP.
5. Stakeholder Liaison: Work with District Administration, Forest Officers, NGOs, schools, and local leaders to implement forestry component at grassroots level.
6. Monitoring: Monitor plant survival rate, community participation, and report challenges to PMU Quetta. Salary Rs. 43,750 per month.
