Diamer Basha Development Company (DBDC), operating under WAPDA for the mega Diamer Basha Dam project, has announced multiple vacancies on a regular basis. These positions are exclusively for candidates from District Diamer. The Diamer Basha Dam is one of Pakistan’s most critical water and power projects under the "Decade of Dams" vision. Located on River Indus between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, the dam will generate 4,500 MW of electricity and store 8.1 MAF of water. DBDC is the dedicated company executing this project. Local hiring is prioritized to ensure economic uplift for the Diamer region.

Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

All posts have an age limit of 18 to 33 years and are reserved for District Diamer domicile holders. Recruitment is split into two sections:

Key Instructions & General Conditions

  • Testing Authority: Written test conducted by Central Testing Services (CTS). Interview by DBDC.
  • Probation: Initial appointment on 1-year probation. Regularization subject to satisfactory performance.
  • Age Relaxation: Already included in 18-33 limit. Local DBD daily-wage employees get relaxation equal to their service. 10 years relaxation for disabled persons.
  • Document Verification: Educational certificates must be verified from HEC recognized Universities/Boards. Original documents required at interview.
  • Ineligibility: Candidates dismissed/debarred on disciplinary grounds cannot apply.
  • DBDC Rights: Can cancel/withhold recruitment at any stage. Number of posts may increase/decrease.
  • No TA/DA: Not admissible for test and interview.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Process

  1. Online Application: Visit CTS website www.ctspak.com within 15 days of advertisement publication.
  2. Test Fee: Pay Rs. 170/- to M/s CTS via Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB, or Bank Islami using prescribed Bank Challan from CTS website. Can also deposit directly into CTSPAK bank account.
  3. Post Selection: Must specify the post you are applying for on the form.
  4. Document Submission: Send copy of online form + attested copies of educational documents, domicile, CNIC, experience certificates, 2 passport photos, and original fee challan via courier to:
    Central Testing Services Office, 414, F2, Jeff Heights, Main Boulevard, Gulberg-III, Lahore, Pakistan.
  5. Roll No. Slips: CTS will inform candidates via SMS/email about test center, date, and timing.
  6. Important: Applications by hand or received after due date will not be entertained. Incomplete info leads to rejection.

  • Typing speed matters: For clerical/steno posts, practice 40 wpm typing. Test will be conducted.
