Programme Dates – AKU Virtual Internship Summer 2026
Internship Duration: 8 June 2026 to 28 August 2026
Total Duration: 12 weeks summer programme
Time Commitment: Part-time flexible hours to accommodate students’ academic schedules
This summer 2026 virtual internship runs for 3 months, giving AKU students enough time to work on meaningful projects with international partners while managing university studies.

Eligibility: All AKU Students are eligible to apply for the 2026 Summer Reciprocal Virtual Internship Programme.
This includes undergraduate and graduate students from all AKU campuses: Pakistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom. Whether you’re studying Medicine, Nursing, Education, Media, Arts & Sciences, or Business, you can apply and get matched with global organizations in your field.

How to Apply for AKU 2026 Summer RVIP – Last Date 26 April 2026

Step 2: Login with your AKU student credentials and complete the online application form.
Step 3: Upload required documents: CV, statement of interest, transcript. Highlight skills, languages, and areas of interest.

Step 5: Shortlisted students matched with international host organizations. Interviews may be conducted in May 2026.
