The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced new job openings for the Diamer Basha Dam Project. WAPDA is inviting applications for the following posts:
- Driver (LTV) – BPS 06 – 16 posts
Eligibility: Light Duty Vehicle License with at least 5 years’ experience after obtaining the license, along with Middle qualification.
Age Limit: 25 to 35 years
Quota: District Diamer - Driver (HTV) – BPS 07 – 2 posts
Eligibility: HTV/PSV License with at least 5 years’ experience after obtaining the license, along with Middle qualification.

General Conditions & Instructions
Candidates must carefully read the following conditions before applying:
- Written test will be conducted by M/s Central Testing Services (CTS), while interviews will be conducted by WAPDA.
- General age relaxation of 5 years is already included. An additional 3 years relaxation is admissible for Minorities and Gilgit Baltistan (District Diamer).
- Government/WAPDA employees with 2 years of regular service may avail up to 10 years relaxation.
- Daily wage/contingent employees of WAPDA will get relaxation equal to their years of service.
- Ex‑Army personnel from District Diamer can apply up to 40 years of age.
- Age will be calculated on the closing date of applications.
- Applicants already serving in WAPDA must apply for NOC before closing date.
- Government employees must apply through proper channel with requisite NOC.
- Educational certificates must be verified from HEC recognized universities/concerned boards.
- Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.
- Initial appointment will be on probation for 1 year, subject to satisfactory performance.
- Candidates dismissed or debarred from service are not eligible.
- WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel recruitment at any stage.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
- Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
- Any bogus information found at any stage will result in termination.
How to Apply – Step by Step
- Visit the CTS website: www.ctspak.com.
- Download and fill the prescribed application form.
- Pay the test fee of Rs. 170/- at any branch of Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB, or Bank Islami using the downloadable challan form. Alternatively, deposit directly into CTS bank account via online banking.
- Attach the payment receipt copy with the application form.
- Clearly specify the post you are applying for (Driver LTV or Driver HTV).
- Send the completed application form along with attested copies of:
- Educational documents
- Domicile certificate
- CNIC
- Relevant experience certificates
- Two recent passport size photographs
- Original fee challan
- Applications must be submitted within 15 days of advertisement publication.
- Hand‑submitted applications or those received after due date will not be entertained.
- After applying, regularly check CTS website for roll number slips, test schedule, and results.
- Candidates will be informed via SMS/email about test centers, dates, and timings.
