Job Opportunity: Principal at Police Public School, Gilgit
The Gilgit Baltistan Police Department has announced an exciting career opportunity for the position of Principal at the Police Public School, Gilgit. This institution is dedicated to providing quality education to the children of police personnel and the wider community, and now seeks a dynamic leader to guide its academic and administrative future.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification: 16 years of education (1st Division) or higher. A B.Ed. or equivalent professional teaching qualification is mandatory.
- Experience: At least 10 years of teaching experience, including 5 years as Head of a reputed educational institute. Preference will be given to candidates with M.Phil or PhD degrees and a proven track record of improving academic results and school reputation.
- Age Limit: 32 to 45 years.
Pay Package & Contract Details
- Salary: Negotiable, based on qualification and skill set.
- Nature of Job: Contract basis.
- Contract Period: Initially 1 year, extendable to 2 years subject to satisfactory performance. Terminable with one month’s notice from either side.
Required Skills
- Strong administrative capacity to manage staff, budgets, and educational planning.
- Persuasion skills to generate resources and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in both Urdu and English.
- Proficiency in modern Educational Management Systems (EMS), digital learning tools, and IT basics.
