The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) has announced 50 scholarships for deserving and talented students of Gilgit-Baltistan for the academic year 2025-26. These scholarships are distributed as 30 for Intermediate and 20 for Graduation level students. The initiative is managed by the Directorate of Higher Education (Colleges), Gilgit-Baltistan.
Eligibility Criteria for PEEF Scholarship
- Applicant must have a Gilgit-Baltistan domicile.
- Passed Matriculation or Intermediate Examination 2025 (Annual) conducted by BISE.
- Studied in Government Schools/Colleges of Gilgit-Baltistan.
- Secured at least 60% marks in the relevant examination.
- Admitted as a full-time student in a regular institution for 2025-26.
- Monthly family income must be Rs. 60,000/- or less (with exemptions for BPS 1-4 employees and children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks).
- Not availing any other scholarship during the current academic year.
Special Quota Categories
Applicants falling under the following categories can apply for Special Quota Scholarships:
- Orphan students
- Children of Government servants in BPS 1-4
- Minority students
- Special (disabled) students
- Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks
- Children of divorced mothers
Ineligible Candidates
- Marks improvers
- Students who passed in supplementary exams
- Students who passed with grace marks
How to Apply PEEF Scholarship
Interested candidates must submit the PEEF Scholarship Application Form to the Directorate of Higher Education Colleges GB, Sakwar Gilgit by 2nd March, 2026.
