 Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) has announced the Artisan Training Scheme Batch No. 56 (1st Phase) for the year 2026. Applications are invited from male and female citizens of Pakistan to join as Artisans at POF Institute of Technology (POFIT), Wah Cantt under the Apprenticeship Ordinance 1962.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Matric with Science (minimum 2nd Division). Additional 10% weightage for FSc (Physics & Math) and DAE pass candidates.
  • Age Limit: 17 to 21 years.
  • Duration of Training: 1.5 years (three semesters).

Stipend During Training

  • 1st Semester (6 months): 50% of BPS-5 = Rs. 7,615 per month
  • 2nd Semester (6 months): 60% of BPS-5 = Rs. 9,138 per month
  • 3rd Semester (6 months): 80% of BPS-5 = Rs. 12,184 per month

Terms & Conditions

  • Affidavit: Selected candidates must submit an affidavit on Rs. 100/- stamp paper signed by their surety to complete training satisfactorily.
  • Employment: POF is not bound to offer jobs to all apprentices. Successful candidates may be absorbed subject to seat availability.
  • Bond Deed: Artisans offered jobs must serve POF for at least 6 years. Early resignation requires refund of training expenses plus Rs. 50,000 penalty.

Accommodation

Hostel accommodation will be provided on demand, subject to availability, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
