PEEF Scholarship 2025–26 for Gilgit-Baltistan Students: Apply Now for Intermediate and Graduation Level

The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, through its Directorate of Higher Education (Colleges), has announced the PEEF Scholarship 2025–26 for deserving and talented students of the region. This initiative, funded by the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF), aims to support academically bright students from Gilgit-Baltistan who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education.

🎓 Scholarship Overview

For the academic year 2025–2026, a total of 50 scholarships are available:

  • 30 scholarships for students enrolled in Intermediate 1st Year
  • 20 scholarships for students enrolled in Graduation Part-1

These scholarships are a golden opportunity for students who have recently passed their Matriculation or Intermediate exams in 2025 (Annual) and are now enrolled in regular educational institutions.\

✅ Eligibility Criteria for PEEF GB Scholarship 2025

To qualify for this prestigious scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  1. Domicile: Must be a resident of Gilgit-Baltistan.
  2. Academic Qualification: Passed Matric or Intermediate exams in 2025 (Annual) from a Government School/College in GB.
  3. Minimum Marks: Secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
  4. Enrollment: Admitted as a full-time student in a regular institution for the current academic year (2025–26).
  5. Income Limit: Monthly family income must be Rs. 60,000 or less.
    • Income affidavit required on Rs. 100 stamp paper, attested by a Gazetted Officer.
    • Exemptions: Children of BPS 1–4 government employees and civilians martyred in terrorist attacks are exempt from income limits.
  6. No Other Scholarship: Applicant must not be availing any other scholarship during the current academic year.

🎯 Special Quota Categories

Students falling under any of the following categories are eligible for Special Quota Scholarships:

  • Orphan children (Father’s death certificate required)
  • Children of BPS 1–4 government employees
  • Minority religion students
  • Special children (Disability certificate required)
  • Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks
  • Children of divorced mothers

Relevant documents must be attached to support the claim under special quota.

❌ Ineligibility Conditions

Applicants will be considered ineligible if:

  • They passed their exams in supplementary sessions
  • They were awarded grace marks in the qualifying exam
  • They are marks improvers
